Winter

“People ask me what I do in winter when there’s no baseball. I’ll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring,” said Hall of Fame great hitter Rogers Hornsby.

Don’t fall into the inactivity trap this winter. Even the greatest hitters stay active in the off-season – and not just with baseball. Try something different and daring. 2010 National League MVP Joey Votto played basketball as a youth; it remains a passion.  How about activities other than sports? Slugger Ryan Howard played trombone in his high school marching band. Stay busy and stay great.
